Cancellation policy
Last updated: June 2026
Plans change, and we try to be reasonable. This policy explains how rescheduling, cancellation, and refunds work. The exact terms for your course are confirmed in writing before you book, and those confirmed terms take precedence over the general guidance here.
Rescheduling
If you need to move a scheduled session, let us know as early as you can. With reasonable notice, we will do our best to find a new time at no extra cost. Late changes may not be possible to accommodate, because pool and site access is often booked in advance.
Cancellation by you
- Before any agency materials or eLearning codes are issued and before any session-specific costs are committed, deposits for instruction are generally refundable, minus any costs already incurred on your behalf.
- Once eLearning codes, agency registration, or certification materials are issued, those items are non-refundable, because they cannot be returned.
- Sessions cancelled on short notice may be charged in whole or in part, since the time and access were reserved for you.
Cancellation or rescheduling by us
Safety comes first. If conditions, weather, facility access, or health make a session unsafe or impractical, we may reschedule it. If we cancel a session and cannot offer a suitable alternative, the portion you paid for that session is refunded.
Weather and conditions
Open-water sessions depend on safe conditions. A weather or condition postponement is not a cancellation; we will reschedule at no penalty to you.
Medical situations
If a medical issue prevents you from diving or completing a course, talk to us. We will handle it fairly and, where reasonable, credit unused instruction toward a later date.
